Just over ½ mile of double bank fishing located a few miles upstream of Ross. This section of the Wye is deep and slow, with numerous swims from which to target the barbel and chub, including the old salmon croys. The water also holds good numbers of pike and some large river carp. Grayling, dace and roach are also present.Access to the entire length of this fishery is good although bankside vegetation in the summer months can become challenging, as is the case on most Wye fisheries. Although the fishing is double bank, access is via the right (north) bank only. For coarse anglers, this section holds a good head of barbel and chub. There are regular inspections of the fishery. Anyone that is found using barbed hooks, or not adhering to ANY of the coarse fishery rules will be asked to leave the fishery immediately. Please note that there is enough parking space for a maximum of 3 vehicles.Block Booking is available on this beat. You can book all the tickets available (sometimes at a discounted price). You can only fish up to the maximum daily number of people allowed for that type of fishing.
